Passenger transport. Fire which occurred during the voyage of the ship. Death of passenger. The carrier shall be liable for damage resulting from the death or personal injury of a passenger caused by a marine incident to the degree that the said damage to the passenger in question does not in each individual case exceed 250,000 estimate units, unless the carrier proves that the incident: a) was the result of an act of war or b) was caused entirely by an act or omission of a third party with the intention to cause the incident.
